Under the IESC programme, IDS arranges the services of highly qualified and experienced US professionals to address industry/plant specific technical problems. So far, over 300 Volunteer Executives have been provided several private sector enterprises for advice on solving problems relating to technology upgradation, quality control, productivity enhancement, energy conservation and environment improvement. The feedback from the companies which have subscribed to this programme has been extremely encouraging, with many repeated requests for this cost-effective technical assistance.

IDS manages this programme in India solely, on behalf of International Executive Service Corps (IESC), a non-profit organisation based in Stamford, Connecticut, USA. IESC/India provides the services of highly qualified industry experts to share their years of experience with companies in developing countries. The industry experts are selected by IESC from its 14,000 strong skills bank.
