Dr. I.B. Gulati is the former Director of the Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP), and has over 30 years of experience in the areas of petroleum refining, development and planning of new refinery projects, petrochemicals, alternate energy sources and environmental aspects related to the petroleum industry. He has held several senior technical positions in the petroleum field. He has been actively involved, for many years, in the Planning Commissions Committees on Demand Forecasts for Petroleum Products and preparation of development plans for the Petroleum Sector in India.

Dr. Gulati has been a Director on the Board of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation, Lubrizol India Ltd., Engineers India Ltd., and Balmer Lawrie & Co. and has been associated with appraisal of several new projects of these companies.

He has been a visiting Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi and has been associated with IDS for 20 years where he has directed several studies in the fields of petroleum, petrochemicals and energy.

A Mechanical Engineer, with a postgraduate degree in Business Management. He has over 45 years' experience as a professional consultant in the engineering industry, covering both technical and market research studies, with planning and techno-commercial appraisal of projects. As Chief (Projects and Economic Development) at the National Industrial Development Corporation Ltd., New Delhi he led a group of industrial economists and engineers in preparation of techno-economic feasibility studies, modernization studies for large and medium scale industries. At IDS, his major assignments in the relevant field have been for reputed companies like Tata Steel, SAIL, NALCO, Kalyani Steels, Modella Steels, Prakash Industries etc. He has worked as a consultant to the UNDP, Asian Development Bank, Commonwealth Secretariat for regional development studies in Asia and Africa. During his tenure, he has undertaken both quantitative and qualitative research projects with a focus on end-users.

A Metallurgical Engineer from IIT, Kanpur. He has over 38 years experience as a professional consultant to the engineering industry, covering both technical and market research studies, with planning and techno-commercial appraisal of projects. He has worked for 6 years with a mini steel plant in Himachal Pradesh as a Project Engineer. He also worked for 4 years with a steel foundry as Executive Director from pre-operations to final commissioning. His focus areas include consumer profiling, competitor assessment, SWOT analysis of both products & suppliers and techno-economic feasibility studies.

A Mechanical Engineer from IIT Kanpur with one year Professional Diploma in Quality Management and a Charter Member of American Society of Quality Six Sigma Forum. He has thirty eight years of rich experience including twelve years with PSUs at various responsible executive positions. Thereafter, he had twenty six years of rich experience of techno-commercial consultancy to industry. He has undertaken various prestigious assignments of techno-economic feasibility studies, rehabilitation proposals, business research, quantitative and qualitative market research etc. to formulate strategies for various distinguished clients like Tata Steel, SAIL, JSW Steel, CRISIL, E&Y, FACOR, HCC, JPC, Bao Steel, POSCO, IISI, Mitsui. He was invited by IIT Kanpur; Management Associations and Management Institutes to make presentations on Quality Function Deployment. His article on Total Quality Management was published in Management Accountant. He has in-depth understanding of Customer Delight, How to keep Customers for Life and Total Quality & Cost Leadership with Innovation for Corporate Growth.

A post graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in Polymer Science and Technology. As a life member of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, she has written article in technical journals. She has been a speaker at Asian Petrochemical Industry Conference. She has over 15 years of oil & gas industry experience in the various areas including polymers, chemicals and petrochemicals for techno-economic feasibility studies, market research studies, refinery and port terminal studies. She has worked in the field of engineering plastics, commodity plastics, synthetic rubbers, bulk chemicals and petrochemicals and inorganic chemicals. Closely focusing on end-user markets and consumers, she has been instrumental many-a-times in conveying the voice / grievances of small / medium consumers to the manufacturers thereby helping them in formulating most suitable marketing strategies for re-positioning of their products in the market.

Has a Masters in Operations Research from Delhi University and a Diploma in Consultancy from the Consultancy Development Centre (CDC), New Delhi. Has over 10 years' experience and has been associated with several projects in the field of chemicals, petrochemicals, consumer products, automobiles and other specialized industries. Based in Mumbai, she covers the Western Zone for IDS.
